Canada, Quebec, Montreal – Beyond the Four Seasons under the direction of Enrico Onofri – October 9, 10 and 11, 2015

Works of Vivaldi

Nature in its various manifestations and through its impact on human activity at once fascinated and inspired that great Venetian conjurer, Vivaldi. Apart from the famous Seasons, storms, birds, frost, the hunt, and rustic revelry can be found in a good number of his concertos and vocal music. Experience the exhilaration of the tempest as well as the joys nature also bestows in this opening concert of Arion’s 35th Season, expressed by the moving voice of Mireille Lebel, the eloquent violin of Enrico Onofri, and the sensitive flute of Claire Guimond.

Guest conductor: Enrico Onofri, violin (Italy)
